FACILITATOR/ CONTRACTOR LTAI is seeking a dynamic and passionate Facilitator/Contractor to deliver engaging programs and workshops that align with our mission to empower and uplift our community. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and evaluate educational sessions that foster interactive learning, inclusivity, and personal growth. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a collaborative yet independent work environment and is committed to driving positive social impact. Key Responsibilities Program Development & Delivery: Design and develop educational workshops, training sessions, and community programs that reflect LTAI’s values and objectives. Facilitate sessions using interactive methodologies that cater to diverse audiences. Participant Engagement: Create an inclusive, respectful, and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and open dialogue. Adapt session content and delivery based on participant feedback and needs. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with LTAI’s program team to coordinate event logistics and integrate new ideas into the curriculum. Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders and team members. Evaluation & Reporting: Monitor program effectiveness through participant assessments and feedback mechanisms. Compile and analyze data to report on program outcomes and suggest areas for improvement. Administrative Tasks: Keep detailed records of program activities, attendance, and feedback. Ensure all materials and resources are maintained and updated regularly. Additional Responsibilities: Attend regular team meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions as required. Travel to program sites or community events as needed. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Social Work, Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 2 years’ experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or similar educational programs. Liscneded Mental Health Professional in New York state Skills & Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proven ability to engage diverse audiences and facilitate interactive learning environments. Proficiency with digital tools and virtual facilitation platforms (preferred). Experience in community-based or non-profit settings is a plus. Personal Attributes: Passionate about social impact and community empowerment. Creative, adaptable, and open to feedback. GED INSTRUCTOR We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GED Instructor to provide high-quality instruction to adult learners preparing for the GED exam. The instructor will develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering the four GED subject areas: Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning Through Language Arts. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive learning environment, assess student progress, and help learners build confidence in their academic abilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the GED curriculum. Provide engaging and interactive instruction in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Assess students’ academic strengths and weaknesses to tailor instruction accordingly. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. Track and evaluate student progress through quizzes, assignments, and practice tests. Offer individualized support and tutoring as needed. Prepare students for the structure and format of the GED exam, including test-taking strategies. Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Stay current with GED testing updates and adult education best practices. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably with adult learners or in GED preparation. Strong knowledge of GED subject areas and test structure. Experience with curriculum development and differentiated instruction. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms. Passion for adult education and student success. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching certification in Adult Education or a related field. Experience working with diverse populations, including at-risk learners. We provide workshops, coaching, and professional development for schools, nonprofits, and corporate wellness programs to improve mental well-being and reduce stigma. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and motivated Social Work Intern to support our mission of advancing trauma-informed mental health services. This role is ideal for MSW/Bachelor’s-level social work students interested in community mental health, program development, and advocacy. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Program & Workshop Support: Assist in developing and facilitating trauma-informed mental health workshops for schools, nonprofits, and corporate clients. Conduct research on best practices in mental health, trauma-informed care, and wellness. Support workshop logistics, including coordinating materials and tracking attendance. 🔹 Client & Community Engagement: Assist in engaging youth, parents, and professionals through outreach and support initiatives.
